Cathedral Windows Ornament Tutorial

Welcome to my blog! I am participating in the Cathedral Windows Sew Along over on Jamie's blog! Here is what I came up with for the sew along, a cathedral windows ornament. I had a lot of fun learning this technique.  If you want to make one see below.

Supplies:
1 - 6" square
1 - 3" inner peek-a-boo square
1 - 7" string for hanging (embroidery floss works great)

Directions:
Follow Jamie's cathedral windows basics tutorial here  You will only need 1 folded square. After you make 1 completed cathedral window square: thread a hand needle with string and on 1 diagonal corner of square pull string through with needle, remove needle and tie a small knot.  Hang and enjoy, you will want to make more. Thanks for a great, fun tutorial Jamie!  Don't forget to add photos of your Cathedral Windows Sew Along projects to the Flickr group for a chance to win lots of prizes!

Until the next post Happy Quilting!
